Head of Product @ Ironchip ( currently )
Head of Product @ Ironchip ( currently )
Product manager @ Ironchip ( June 2020 - June 2022 )
My objectives in Ironchip are to manage the technical team during the product creation phases, from the technical conception, to the design, the development, the testing and the release.
Location based authentication, is the first product developed by Ironchip. It is a platform that allows customers to integrate Ironchip's location based technology in the authentication world. It permits the definition of policies that allow or deny access to services connected via standard protocols (OAuth2, SAML, OIDC...) depending on the final users localization in an anonymous and unspoofable manner.
My role here was to lead Ironchip's technical team and assist them during the conception, business and technical definitions of the product, implementation, testing, deployment and customers feedback.
Location based security is the artificial intelligence responsible for unequivocally, anonymously and precisely determining the location from which an operation is being made.
My role here was to develop the machine learning algorithms that together, with the classical electromagnetic computational models, made possible the current performance of Ironchip technological core.
Big data and AI team leader @ everis, currently NTT Data Europe
( June 2019 - June 2020 )
As a natural evolutionary step, once everis tested my hard-skill abilities I was
promoted into this position trusting me the team leading in the Big Data and artificial
intelligence fields.
An artificial intelligence solution aimed at treating patients who have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder via a posology estimation artificial intelligence and a (DSS) decision support system derived from it.
My role in this project was to design, train, evaluate and bring to production the core artificial intelligence module. As the team leader in this project, I was also responsible to manage the technical team that programmed to the decision support system for the clinicians based on the trained models.
Big data consultant @ everis, currently NTT Data Europe ( June 2017 - June 2020 )
Thanks to my previous experience in Big Data I was offered an opportunity in everis as a Big Data consultant focusing mainly on the architecture of Big Data lambda architectures, ETL systems and Big Data backed artificial intelligence systems.
ADLIFE is a European project funded by Horizon 2020 and involves 11 partners from 7 European countries, collaborating in research to improve the health and quality of life of the elderly population suffering from advanced chronic diseases.
My role as an AI architect was to evaluate the requirements for the WP 5 "CLINICAL DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS AND EARLY IDENTIFICATION TOOLS", to derive a viable design and to help propose the resource allocation to materialize this architecture.
Entrepreneur, full-stack developer @ Ironchip ( March 2017 - October 2017 )
In the context of the recently created startup Ironchip, I was offered an opportunity in the company as the third employee, (the first non-founder) and the one with the most relevant technical position.
My role during this phase was to help Julen and Jose materialize the first product ideas and the creation of the first project, a binary options platform for real-time investment.
The creation of this platform was the seed for current Ironchip product line as it was during this phase that the need for a Safe Zone for authentication was detected.
Road guardian was an award-winning big-data PoC developed in 48h to demonstrate the technical capabilities of Ironchip. It's div premise was to detect the highest accident concentration areas and to propose alternative routes to cyclists to reduce the sinistrality. The data sources were obtained thanks to the Open data euskadi project.
My role was to develop the big data platform, the ETL system and the visualization dashboard.
Backend engineer @ Ludei ( April 2015 - January 2017 )
Ludei's Cocoon platform was my first and one of the most important project I've been embarked into.
Cocoon was an HTML5 to native SaaS technology specialized in transforming browser-designed video games into mobile applications with native-like performance.
I worked as a backend engineer and made my first productive development and my first AI model that reached production.
Cocoon: Create Awesome HTML5 Native Apps from Ludei on Vimeo.
My role in this project was to develop, maintain and improve the backend system that gave support to the cocoon platform.
Software Validation and Verification Engineer @ NorayBio ( October 2014 - February 2015 )
Noraybio is a bioinformatics company, belonging to Noray Biosciences Group, whose objective is to provide institutions and companies in the field of biosciences with software tools that help them manage the large amount of data derived from their research.
As part of my university internship program I was recruited to help NorayBio team with the testing and QA process for the AniBio product, an easy-to-use software solution designed to improve the management of animal facility and the animals themselves.
IT Technician @ Comune di Pistoia ( April 2010 - July 2010 )
I went to Pistoia with an Erasmus grant to make practices as a System Administrator. I was mainly assigned to solving Pistoia's town hall network problems.
